1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account or using CriteriaPilot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

CriteriaPilot provides AI-assisted tools for generating and reviewing Agile product-management artifacts, including acceptance criteria, user stories, bug reports, and related outputs. Features may change, be added, or be discontinued over time.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use CriteriaPilot only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with the service or other users. You must not:

4. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account. You should use a strong password and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. AI-Generated Output

CriteriaPilot uses artificial intelligence to generate and analyze content. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, ambiguous, or inappropriate for your specific requirements. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, validating, and approving any output before relying on it.

CriteriaPilot does not guarantee that generated acceptance criteria, user stories, bug reports, quality scores, recommendations, or other outputs are correct or complete. AI output should not be treated as professional legal, medical, financial, security, or other regulated advice.

6. Your Content and Intellectual Property

You retain your rights in content you submit to CriteriaPilot, subject to the rights necessary for us and our service providers to process that content to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions for content you upload.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may use generated output for your own business or project purposes. Because AI-generated content can be similar across users and may incorporate common patterns, we do not guarantee that generated output is unique or exclusively attributable to you.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep CriteriaPilot available and reliable, but the service is provided subject to maintenance, upgrades, outages, third-party failures, network issues, and other events outside our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

8. Abuse and Enforcement

We may apply technical safeguards, rate limits, suspend sessions, restrict access, or suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect CriteriaPilot, other users, third-party services, or the integrity of the platform.

9. Third-Party Services

CriteriaPilot relies on third-party providers for hosting, database infrastructure, AI processing, and email delivery. Availability and functionality may depend on those providers, and their terms may apply to their respective services.

10. No Warranty

To the extent permitted by law, CriteriaPilot is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that the service or its outputs will meet every requirement, be uninterrupted, or be error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CriteriaPilot and its operators will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from or related to use of the service. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the service and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of CriteriaPilot after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
